Air Cargo News has today published the UK's Top 200 IATA Forwarders table and Genesis Forwarding Services are delighted to announce that they have leapt from 32nd place in 2008 to 22nd in 2009.
 Genesis Forwarding Services has been informed that the International Guarulhos (GRU) Airport in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is experiencing cargo chaos, due to the lack of space at the Airport.

Genesis Forwarding Services is delighted to announce that it's UK team has won the UK independent Forwarder of the Year Award.
UK Airspace has now re-opened due to the cloud of volcanic ash which disrupted UK airspace yesterday causing Northern Ireland, Western Scotland and far South-West England flights to be grounded.
Glasgow, Prestwick, Derry, Dublin and Belfast Airports are all likely to be affected by the volcanic ash clouds from Iceland today. 
Flights in and out of Ireland and Northern Ireland have been suspended since 07.00 BST due to an ash plume that is drifting south from the same Icelandic volcano that caused havoc to European air travel in April.
Following the 6 day closure of UK airspace, the skies finally re-opened on 20th April.
The first flights have been landing in the UK overnight following the six day shutdown of European airspace.
1st May 2010 through to 31st October 2010 will see cultures gather in Shanghai for the World Exposition, attendees will explore Urban Life, as it is, in the 21st Century.

Genesis Forwarding Services Dublin, has been informed that Dublin Airport has now resumed operation. However, Eastbound flights have been heavily restricted.

As a result from the Icelandic volcano which erupted on Wednesday 14th April, UK flights are to be grounded for a second day as the ash continues to spread across Europe.
Further to the earlier Genesis update, no flights other than agreed emergencies will be permitted into UK airspace.
Hundreds of UK flights have been cancelled today and Ireland flights left delayed due to the impact from Iceland's volcanic eruption.
According to IFW, 22nd March, the capacity crisis that has afflicted the Asia-Europe trade since November is finally beginning to look up.
